Actually, there are 16 of them...
For those of you who frequent natural toy websites you may have seen something similar under the name Holztiger. I used their pictures as templates and copied most of the paintwork as well. I am so happy with how they turned out. I know the boys will be in love and I had so much fun making them.
I used my BIL's scroll saw, non-toxic watercolors and a beeswax and olive oil mix for the finish.
I made 3 for each of the boys....
And 4 for my brother's 2 girls...
There is definitely a scroll saw at the top of my wish list now.
