Skate Park

The boys have been itching to test out their Christmas skateboards. With the move, a new baby, bad health and foul weather this was their first opportunity.

I stayed home with the two little ones while Caleb took 3 excited boys to the skate park for 3 hours. Upon their return I asked Caleb if he had let them do all sorts of crazy things which would not have been allowed had I been there.

The answer was...yes.

Although, crazy try-anything Jason did want to stand and his dad put a halt to that idea right quick.

Sensible Paul didn't go for the flying down a ramp idea and stuck to his bike...

And a bit of sliding...

Even though there were some crashes...

And some rough landings...

We, surprisingly, ended up with just 1 bloodied chin and the knees torn out of only 1 pair of jeans.

Pretty good, I thought.

Sweet Baby Doll

I have not needed to purchase any clothes for Elisa. I have bittersweet feelings about this. It is great financially, but I would love to buy some of the pretty clothes I've been eying for the last 5 years. I just can't bring myself to do it when she doesn't need them...especially since I know in six months time my stash will run out and then I can have my fun.

So her gift monies are being directed to more important items...such as toys. *smile* She needed some non-toxic, not made in China baby toys anyway. Everything I've bought has been gender neutral except this little pink fairy doll. This one is special...just for her.

She is made of organic materials and I must say I've never smelled anything so clean and unscented. Don't ask why I was smelling it. :) I mentioned the lack of smell to Caleb and his response was along the lines of...What are you doing sniffing her doll!?! lol!

Just seemed the thing to do at the time. :)

Paul is sitting on the toilet right at this moment singing "I love you Elisa." Just had to add that in here. :)

I can't claim any of the beautiful photographs which grace my blog. My husband is the genius behind the camera. However, I did take these. :)

I love little girl clothes.
I love having girly colors in the laundry basket.

I love how my boys think we have
a little princess living with us.

I am so excited she is here.
You're probably sick of hearing about it.

I've been looking online at baby dolls, tea sets,
and dress up clothes with ribbons and tulle.

I've even been looking at tiny baby hair bows.

Is that ridiculous?
